Kardan University Welcomes Fall 2019 Students

The Success Center at Kardan University organized a host of events and programs under the Welcome Week umbrella for Fall 2019 intake. The programs included a learning session on Academic Writing tips, a seminar on career development skills, introduction of the new students to Student Clubs, starting the English for Academic Purposes course, participating in friendly sports matches, and a tour of different sections of the University.

During the Welcome Week (September 21 – 22, 2019), newly enrolled students had the chance to meet with faculty members and Kardan University Student Ambassadors. They also got acquainted with University facilities and resources across campuses. On September 23rd and 24th, students were taught academic writing tips, methods and benefits of note-taking.

The students also attended a one-day seminar on writing a CV, Cover Letter and mastering the interview skills. During the week, sports enthusiasts from among the newcomers formed Football, Cricket and Volleyball teams and played the respective university teams. This helped the university identify new players to formally play for the university in these sports.
The new students appreciated the Success Center and other departments for the program. “During the Welcome Week, we gained full acquaintance with Kardan University, its facilities and resources, and learned many new things from educatorsand experts” one student said.

Ajmal Nabizada, Manager, Student Involvement and Events welcomed fresh students and praised their active participation in the opening programs. Meanwhile, students registered for the five-week English Language program which is aimed at improving speaking, note-taking, wiring and critical thinking in new students.

Kardan University leadership wishes all new students best of luck with their studies and warmly welcomes them to this prestigious institution.
