Kardan University’s Computer Science Department Organizes Training Session on Routing and Switching

To foster Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) education, especially SDG4: Quality Education, Kardan University’s Computer Science Department organized a two-week training session on Routing and Switching, starting on October 10 – 24, 2020, in CISCO Lab, Taimani Campus.

The session is open to Computer Science students and the public to benefit from this training program. Computer Science students from public and private universities and higher education institutions are invited to attend this training session and learn new routing and switching operation methods.

Participating students gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter by working closely with Computer Science Lectures and trainers during the training period. With the support of CISCO Lab devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls, students worked practically on VLSM Subnetting, Port Security, VLAN, ACL, SSH, Telnet Routing Protocols in the CISCO Lab.

Undertaking educational outreach is part of the University’s commitment to helping students learn on the importance of SDGs education and excelling in their study field, and positively impacting society.
