“Today’s event is to commemorate the International Women’s Day and support the achievement of Afghan women who have had an active engagement in technology and arts, and we are striving to increase women’s presence in all fields”, said Ms. Najla Ahmadyar, Head of WTK Kabul branch.

Shekiba Ibrahimkhil, an alumnus of Kardan University, said, “I am delighted to see Afghan women playing a relatively significant role in technology-related areas across the country. It is a happy moment to participate in such programs aimed to encourage women to broaden their professional domain.”

She also added, “the number of women operating in the field of technology has increased, and we have women occupying management positions which is worth praising.”

In the sideline of this program, two separate workshops were held focusing on how participants could work using ‘Artificial Intelligence” and how to write ‘Professional Curricular Vitae’.
