Kardan University Successfully Concludes the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP)

Kardan University successfully completed the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP), by distributing completion certificates to the participants. This is the first initiative of its kind in the education sector in Afghanistan. The training program was held at Kardan University’s School of Graduate Studies from October 24 to November 16, 2019.

Members of Kardan University leadership were joined by industry experts, entrepreneurs, and leading speakers to deliver insightful sessions on a variety of topics like:
- Leading Teams
- Leadership Philosophy and Style
- Creating a Positive Culture
- Managing Change
- Creativity and Media Affairs
- Strategic Communications
- Social Entrepreneurship
- Leadership in the Public Sector

The ELP brought together 25 emerging leaders from different graduate and undergraduate programs (male and female) who were selected out of a pool of more than 200 applicants.

Talking about the importance of the program, Mr. Roeen Rahmani, Founder and President of Kardan University and Kardan School System, said: “Leaders are required to have strong team-building and people management skills”.

“Organizing learning programs like this is extremely helpful for us to improve our leadership and management skills in this very competitive environment. Besides, we have gained practical insights on how to perform well and overcome challenges” said a participating student.

Upon successful completion of the training program, a graduation ceremony was held to recognize and appreciate the program participants.
