Kardan University is the first Afghan institution to have received accreditation of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE), and full memberships of International Association of Universities (IAU), Global Business School Network (GBSN), Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN), Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
Kardan University is ranked as No. 1 University in Afghanistan by far in the first national accreditation ranking August, 2018 in Quality Assurance and Accreditation Review by the Ministry of Higher Education, Government of Afghanistan.
