Program Management Specialist, U.S. Embassy Kabul Fariha Easar serves as a Program Management Specialist at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul—being responsible for the Justice Sector Support Program. She has 12 years of extensive experience working with different national, international, and government institutions. Ms. Easar volunteered in several programs as the public speaker for a Mission Speaker Program of the U.S. Embassy on women’s rights related topics for university students from 25 provinces. She has also voluntarily conducted different campaigns supporting female GBV and war victims, child labor, and raising women & youth voices for their inclusive participation in the peace process. She has written several articles about human rights, peace and conflict resolution that has been published in well-known national and international publications. She is passionate about serving women, children, and vulnerable groups in Afghanistan.
