Junior Policy Analyst, Economic Cooperation & Development Organization

Obaidullah Otmankhail

Obaidullah Otmankhail earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Pune, India, in 2013, with funding from the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). He obtained his master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Kardan University in 2016.

He won a Civil Society Leadership Scholarship Award as an Afghan civil society member to pursue his master’s degree in International Affairs at Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs.

During his study tenure in Paris, he served as a Junior Policy Analyst at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), where he worked in the secretariat of the Development Assistance Committee (DAC).

He has worked with Sanayee Development Organization in different capacities. He has implemented large and small national-level programs and projects in rural and community development, peacebuilding and conflict resolution, education, advocacy, and policy influencing. He has also trained a large number of trainers in designing and implementing competency-based training programs. He believes in continuous learning and education as a way forward for Afghanistan.
