Basit Farahi

Basit Farahi is a final year student of the Bachelor of Business Administration Department at Kardan University. He started his professional career as a Retail Management-Finance Officer with Afghan Wireless Communication Company (AWCC) in 2013.

Mr. Farahi has worked as an Energy Sector Policy Specialist at the Ministry of Finance – Policy Directorate, where he evaluated public investment projects at the appraisal and economic levels. He also conducted a financial analysis of the projects in the planning and execution stages.

As a policy specialist, he engaged in several other ongoing policy developments of the Government National Priority Programs (NPPs), especially developing the National Infrastructure Plan-II and Extractive Industry (NPP) and significant imputes in Afghanistan National Peace Development Framework-2.
