Mohammad Asif Foulad

Asif Foulad is a final year MBA student of Kardan University, who was born in 1989 in Badghis Province. In 2009, Mohammad Asif Foulad qualified for the prestigious scholarship of Albukhary Foundation to do his bachelor degree in Business Administration of IIUM University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He also completed a 1 Year Leadership Diploma in American Institute for Leadership Development (ILD) in 2017. He is the founder of Change to Improve Life Organization (CILO), which is a national NGO registered under the Ministry of Economy of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan for the purpose of social change and economic development of Afghanistan.

During his bachelor degree; he has received the IIUM Quality Day 2012 secretariat award. He also served as a President for the Albukhary Students Association (ABSA) in Malaysia and provided technical assistance and exposure visits for the scholars from all over the world. He has attended some official visits to Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and India.

Since August 2017, he has worked as a Policy Advisor to the Minister of Mines and Petroleum (MoMP) and Acting Director of Projects Support Unit (PSU), where he lead the financial, monitoring & evaluation, procurement and human resource departments of all the development projects implemented by the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum.

Previously, he was the Managing Director of Voice of Women Organization (VWO), which is a national NGO operating in 9 provinces of Afghanistan with more than 250 employees. He also served as a technical officer in UNOPS, Master Trainer in NPO/RRAA, Data Analyst in World Vision and also part-time lecturer in the Faculty of Economics of Badghis University.

He is fluent in Dari, Pashtu and English languages.
