Nadia Bazidwal

Nadia Bazidwal holds a Master of Public Policy and Administration from Kabul University, Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from Worldwide Science SDN BHD, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from KARDAN University, Afghanistan.

She has fifteen years of experience in the areas of Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Project Management, and Public Relations and Communications. She has worked at key managerial positions throughout her career with both government and international organizations. Currently Mrs. Bazidwal is working with The Asia Foundation - Afghanistan office as Capacity Building Manager “under Strengthening Education in Afghanistan-II, USAID Program,” overseeing the development of ministries, civil society organizations, and education organizations. Prior to the Foundation, she worked with the Civilian Technical Assistance Program (CTAP)/MoF/USAID, Afghanistan, as Capacity Building Specialist, providing technical assistance to ministries and government agencies in common function areas such as Human Resources Management, Procurement, Internal and External Communication, Monitoring and Evaluation, Strategic Planning, and Financial Management and Administration. She also worked as HR/Capacity Building Advisor for the Ministry of Commerce and Industries of Afghanistan, where she was tasked to develop a comprehensive human resource system for the ministry to ensure transparent and effective recruitment, and to implement appraisal and capacity development of the staff. Furthermore, she worked with other national and international organizations including Afghanistan Civil Service Commission as HR/Public Administration Reform Advisor, JHPIEGO-HSSP- USAID Project, as HR Head, Grand Technology Resources-GTR, as Admin/HR Manager and Swedish Committee for Afghanistan (SCA) as Senior HR/Capacity Building Officer.

In addition to full time jobs, her vocational involvements include: Survey Associate on Labor Market Regulations in Afghanistan, the World Bank’s Doing Business from 2010 to the present.

Further, Mrs. Bazidwal is a Founding Board Member of Transparency Afghanistan from 2016 to the present.
