Parvez Azizi

With over 13 years of experience in financial management, Parvez Azizi has actively contributed to the successful management of funds that supported the people of Afghanistan in many ways. He has worked in areas from women empowerment; economic development; and youth advancement, to humanitarian aid; civic engagement and producing quality academic research on national topics that inform policies and form ideas.

Currently he is working with Australian Embassy – Kabul. He has also served with many well-known and reputable organizations in Afghanistan like the United Nations, UNHCR, UNICEF, and International Medical Corps (IMC). Most recently he was the Administrative Finance Manager for Afghanistan Research and Evaluation Unit (AREU), where he was recognized as Best Employee in 2015 for leading the finance department.

In addition to pursuing his Business degree in Kardan University, he completed short-term specialized Financial Management courses at the American University of Afghanistan.

He has been trained internationally in Australia, Turkey, Thailand and UAE by international finance experts.

A young passionate Afghan who promotes the culture of helping others, Parvez a is a co-founder and manager of the Afghan Volunteers Network (AVN) that provides school support to the poor orphan children in Kabul since 2012.
