Maryam Bahar Sadat

Maryam Bahar Sadat holds a Law degree from Kabul University. She currently studies MBA at Kardan University and also studying post graduate in Politics and Diplomacy at The Institute of Diplomacy within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.

A lawyer, Social Activist, Business and Diplomacy learner, Maryam has worked with different parts of the society as part of Peace Making efforts, especially for including women in the peace process. She is the Facilitator of Peace House Network in Afghanistan and she has been working as a volunteer for the peace process.

Her essay on ‘Forced and Child Marriages’ won the best essay award in the essay writing competition organized by British/Canadian Embassies in Kabul. Maryam is a Women Peace Activist for PAK-AFG Women Peace Exchange Program, Peace Sneakers project of Heavenly Culture, World Peace, and Restoration of Light (HWPL).
