Mahboob Rahman Abbasi

Mr. Abbasi is an accredited Program Manager by the UK government, who is currently working as a Program Manager with the UKAID (DFID) in the British Embassy, Kabul. In this role he has had major contributions to the political and governance processes in Afghanistan, like managing the UK financial contributions to the 2014 Presidential and Provincial Council elections, designing a program for provision of health services to the victims of gender based violence in various provinces, training women candidates to participate in the electoral process and providing support in capacity building of the secretariats of both houses of parliament.

Mr. Mahboob is expert in program and financial management, information technology, marketing and communications and customer services. His prominent academic and professional achievements include Professional Diploma in Campaign Planning and Implementation from Chartered Institute of Marketing – UK, Delivering Excellence in Customer Service Award from Institute of Customer Services – UK, Certified Management Coach, Institute of Customer Services – UK, Certified Clerical Marker for IELTS exams – British Council, Level 2 – Licensed Emergency First Aid Provider at Work Place, Level 5 and several other national and international trainings to his credit.
