Mukhtar Ghafarzoy

Pursuing his doctorate degree in Governance from Dublin University in Ireland, Mukhtar obtained his MBA from American University of Cyprus after completing his bachelor level studies in Business Administration here at Kardan University. He also has a Diploma in Media and Communication Development from Deutsche Welle Academy in Berlin, Germany.

Currently working as Executive Director, Afghanistan Institute for Rural Development & Head of Reform Process at the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) for the past three years, he has worked on significant posts at several well-known organizations like BBC, Deloitte Consulting, AREA etc.
Mukhtar is credited for a list of research, policy and strategy documents which have been published and recognized both at home and abroad.
