Rida Azimi has been a student of Law at Kardan University and graduated in 2014. Prior to her assignment at Independent Commission for Electoral Complaints, she was a senator at Afghanistan's National Assembly for five years. Rida has a rich background of working with several national and international organizations e.g. Commissioner at the Election Commission, Secretary General for Higher Education Institutes and Universities of Afghanistan, and working as Political Affairs Officers at the Embassy of Canada in Afghanistan.
