Sultan Hameed Qarar

Sultan Hameed Qarar is the Corporate Audit Manager for FINCA Impact Finance in Afghanistan & VP/ Executive Board Member of TheIIA (The Institute of Internal Auditor – Afghanistan). He also served as Audit Committee Member of private commercial banks & Advisory Council Member to the ACFE in the USA and worked with J.C. Owens Global Consulting LLC, USA & Afghanistan International Bank. He has over one decade of experience in Internal Audit, Fraud Investigation, Internal Controls & Risk Management in commercial banking and microfinance.

He has graduated from Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) of TABESH University in 2012 and currently pursuing his Master’s Degree, Masters of Business Administration (MBA), 2nd Semester at Kardan University since 2019. Further Mr. Qarar is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) – the USA, Certified Internal Control Auditor (CICA) from The Institute of Internal Controls – USA & Banking Leadership Certificate from National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF) – Pakistan.

In 2013, he was awarded the “Best Performance” certificate during the “Banking Leadership” training course by State Bank of Pakistan and the “FMH Auditing Excellence” Appreciation Letter in 2016 after a successful audit assignment in Africa by FINCA Microfinance Holding, Global Leadership.
