Uzma Zaheen earned an undergraduate degree in Sharia Law from Kabul University in 2016. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations specializing in Conflict Resolution and Peace Building. She also holds a diploma in Leadership and Management Oruj Institute of Management and Leadership. Ms. Zaheen has served at different capacities with several renowned national and international organizations. She has been serving as the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Deutsch Gesellshaft fur International Zusammerabeit (GIZ-PCP) since June 2019. Prior to that, she also worked as Coordinator at Young Women for Change Organization, where she was responsible for developing administrative policies, ensuring compliance with local labor law, liaise with HR department and conducting research on Young Women's problems. Ms. Zaheen’s major achievements include; Certificate in business from 10,000 Women Program, an initiative of American University of Afghanistan, Certificate in Project Management from Afghanistan Financial Services, sponsored by USAID, Certificate in Practical Accounting from Smart (AWDP) USAID, and many more.
