Dr. Mir Afzal Tajik, an Associate Professor at Nazarbayev University, will deliver an online session on the Advanced Management and Transformational Leadership on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm.

Dr. Mir Afzal Tajik is an Associate Professor at Nazarbayev University, School of Graduate Studies, where he conducts courses on Introduction to Educational Leadership, Work-based Projects, School Improvement and Effectiveness, Learning to Work, and more.

Dr. Tajik holds a Ph.D. degree in Educational Change/School Improvement from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto (OISE/UT) Canada. Previously, he has served as a Teacher Education at the Aga Khan University, Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED), Pakistan.

His research area of interest is in leadership, teaching and learning, school improvement and effectiveness, community-based school management, educational change, teacher education, civil society institution, peace and pluralism.

Dr. Tajik has published a book, titled, ‘Educational Policies in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, and several journal articles and research papers.
