Kardan University is seeking experienced and motivated Scholarship and Financial Assistance Manager to join our team of professionals

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the Scholarships and Financial Aid Manager will oversee the University’s financial assistance and merit scholarship mechanisms dedicated to the students. The manager will oversee the financial aid disbursements and merit scholarship allocations in compliance with university’s relevant policies. The manager will ensure that work together with the University’s management to allocate budget, meet students’ expectations and help them achieve their goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will be expected to carry out the following duties and responsibilities:    

  • Develop/revise, implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with university’s requirements, regulations related to scholarships and financial assistance;
  • Manage all financial aid programs, ensuring compliance with all stakeholders and donor agencies financial aid regulations, policies, and procedures;
  • Monitor, approve, and/or revise all financial assistance packages for all qualified applicants in accordance with the university's mandate and programs;
  • Develop, modify, implement and maintain tracking mechanism for proper documentation of all awards to comply audit requirements;
  • Maintain records and prepare reports as required by the University’s management;
  • Identify donor agencies and individuals to increase opportunities for financial assistance and merit scholarships;
  • Facilitate coordination and communication between respective university departments as they are linked to the Financial Assistance Management System;
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in business administration, management, social sciences or related field. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in financial aid, or related field.
  • Strong organizational, conceptual, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively within a team and independently.
  • Knowledge of current higher education trends, particularly in the private sector.
