Communication Specialist (Pashto Language)


Job Summary

Kardan University is seeking young and energetic Communication Specialist, who will be responsible for reporting to Marking and Communications Manager. The Communications Specialist will assist with content management, social media responsiveness, and website development in Pashto and regular communication requirements, including profiles of students, faculty and alumni. 

Main duties and responsibilities of Communication Specialist include the following:

Develop and create content for website and social media to promote University’s profile at the national and international levels;

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Write, edit and revise University’s communications materials, ensuring quality of content, production and delivery;
  • Work with graphic designer for developing messages for ad tools;
  • Report different events organized by Kardan University;
  • Support Advancement team in developing routine announcement;
  • Provide full support to Marketing Department of Institutional Development, in production of contents for social media.
  • Work closely with Marketing team to enhance communication materials and approaches;
  • Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor;

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year professional experience in in marketing and communication;
  • Strong organizational, conceptual, interpersonal and  skills;
  • Excellent Pashto and Dari Writing Skills;
  • Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively within a team and independently.
  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
