Procurement Officer for Kardan Schools

Kardan University is seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized procurement officer who will oversee procurement priorities of Kardan Schools. As Procurement Officer, you will play a key role in procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our organization. You will follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research potential vendors and suppliers
  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
  • Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
  • Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
  • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Review quality of purchased products
  • Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
  • Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
  • Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Work with team members and Administration Manager to complete duties as needed

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
  • At least two years of professional experience as Procurement Officer
  • Excellent Negotiation Skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete work accurately within deadlines
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal)
