Ahmad Shah Naqshbandi
Ahmad Shah Naqshbandi is the Deputy CEO, National Procurement Authority (NPA) at the Administrative Office of the President (AOP), Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. He has a postgraduate degree in Sustainable Rural Development as well as a recently completed master’s degree from Italy’s Turin University in Public Procurement Management for Sustainable Development. He completed his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Kardan University in 2011.
Mr. Naqshbandi has a vast experience of working with national and international organizations like working as Personal Assistant to the President of Afghanistan, Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, Advisor to DG NPA, Director Cadre Affairs, NPA and Deputy Program Director at Afghanistan Rural Enterprise Development Program (AREDP/MRRD).
Through a voluntary international mentorship with United Nation Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) he has been mentoring youth from Afghanistan, Iraq and South Sudan in various soft skills related to different aspects of project management.
During his career, Ahmad Shah Naqshbandi has been involved in developing systems and policies, youth development, organizing international conferences as well as building relationships with international institutions like Bangor University in UK and International Training Center of ILO in Italy.
