- The duration of all Bachelor programs at Kardan is minimum four years, two semesters
per year and a total of eight semesters. At the end of each semester there will
be an exam called terminal examination.
- The medium of instruction and examination is English except Islamic Studies and
Afghanistan History where option of English, Dari and Pashto is given.
- For a student to be eligible to appear in each terminal examination, he/she must
have attended at least 75 % of lectures delivered in theory and practical labs.
- Minimum marks required to pass an examination is 60%.
- Final evaluation of students in a semester will be based on overall performance
in the final examination & sessional marks (including class tests, assignments,
attendance etc).
- A student who fails two subjects in a semester will be promoted to next semester
and will be allowed to appear in the examination. A student who fails more than
two papers in a semester will not be promoted to next semester.
- Absence from an examination for any reason whatsoever will be considered failure
in that examination.
- Student failing in all/some papers of an examination shall be declared to have failed
in that/those paper(s). He/she will be allowed to re-appear in the failing paper(s)
in the supplementary examination.
