Mohammad Essa Parwani

A Law graduate from Kardan University, Mr. Essa Parwani also has a Business Management Diploma from Kardan University. He holds an advocacy license from Afghanistan Independent Bar Association and is working as Associate Attorney / Legal Advisor with RIAA BARKER GILLETTE in Kabul. Along with membership in the Mediator Committee in Afghanistan Center for Dispute Resolution (ACDR), he is the Manager and Trainer for Willem C Vis (International Commercial Arbitration Moot) appointed for all Afghan universities by USAID’s CLDP project.

Mr. Parwani represented Afghanistan as one of the judges at the international round of VIS Arbitration program in Hong Kong in 2016 and served as a judge in the Philip Jessup Moot Court Competitions held in Kabul this in 2017.

He has been the recipient of several awards and certificates of appreciation for his outstanding performance in different Arbitration Moots and competitions, both inside Afghanistan and other countries like India, Jordan, Hong Kong, Bahrain and Kuwait.
