Wais Formuli

Apart from studies at Kardan University, Waid Formuli has been an entrepreneur and a social activist for the past several years. In the past few years, he has undertaken the following initiatives which have had both commercial and social impacts:

- Co-founding OragnBees restaurant
- Initiating an Import/Export business with operations both in Afghanistan and UAE
- Establishing a logistics company named Nawras Logistic Services
- Leading the Youth Committee at the Formulian Social Council
- Running support campaigns for food and cloth distribution among the poor
- Campaign against Traffic irregularities in coordination with Kabul Municipality and Traffic Police

His major academic achievements are:

- Two time Academic Excellence Award winner from Kardan University
- Two-time recipient of Student Creativity certificate for participating in exhibitions held at Kardan University
- Two-time semifinalist at the British Parliamentary debate competitions held in Kabul
- Best Speaker at Intervarsity Debate Competition held in Kabul
